Akilah Thorington is Human Resources professional, with over 6 years’ consulting experience working with varying local, regional and international entities, in public and private sectors. Her experience includes but is not limited to Training & Development, Recruitment & Selection and Change Management. Akilah also has extensive experience conducting Psychometric Assessments and facilitating seminars and workshops that showcase the use of assessments in handling HR matters such as Employee Engagement & Retention and Performance Management.
Akilah currently serves as the Lead Consultant, Client Services & Solutions at LCI where she provides her expertise in the areas of Executive & Management Recruitment, Management Coaching and Facilitation and Career Management Services.
Akilah holds an MSc in Labour & Employment Relations and a BSc in Psychology with Sociology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, and is also a trained Facilitator with Leadership Strategies, Inc.
