Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the development and execution of a high-impact people strategy across the Group. This role is responsible for building a high-performance, employee-oriented culture while ensuring alignment between business objectives and HR initiatives across multiple operating entities.
The CHRO will play a critical leadership role in organizational development, talent management, industrial relations, change management, and workforce planning, while maintaining the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with the Group’s overall business objectives
- Drive organizational development initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development
- Build and sustain a high-performance culture focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and measure effectiveness through HR metrics
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee performance management systems, including PDPs and employee-driven initiatives
- Lead change management initiatives impacting organizational structure and employee experience
- Manage industrial relations, including union engagement and grievance resolution
- Design and implement talent management frameworks to meet current and future workforce needs
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulatory requirements, and HR governance standards
- Develop and oversee competitive compensation and benefits strategies
- Manage HR budgets, service delivery standards, and performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs)
- Strengthen internal communication strategies across the Group
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior HR leadership role
- Professional certification (MCIPD, SHRM, or equivalent)
- Membership in a recognized HR professional body
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in industrial relations, employee engagement, talent development, and total rewards
- Sound knowledge of regional labor laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS and HR analytics
- Strong understanding of risk, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, multi-entity environments
- High level of initiative, innovation, and professional judgment
Working Conditions
