Manager, Visa Consulting & Analytics | Jamaica or Trinidad & Tobago

Visa’s Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is hiring a Manager to lead strategic consulting engagements across the English-speaking Caribbean. This is a client-facing advisory role — not a traditional project management position. You will work directly with issuers, acquirers, merchants, neobanks, and fintechs to diagnose performance challenges, develop bespoke solutions, and deliver recommendations that drive measurable, profitable growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Generating business insights and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for consulting clients
  • Building and managing a pipeline of VCA consulting engagements — from identifying client needs to developing proposal frameworks
  • Owning the full lifecycle of complex, multi-stakeholder consulting projects — scoping, execution, timeline management, and delivery
  • Producing rigorous analyses that improve client performance and provide strategic guidance across the payment P&L
  • Partnering across Visa’s global functions — sales, risk, marketing, data science, and innovation
  • Representing VCA externally through thought leadership, conferences, and industry publications

What we’re looking for:

The following are essential — candidates who cannot demonstrate these will not be considered:

Payments industry or management consulting experience — you understand this world from the inside

Deep understanding of card and payment P&L — you know what drives profitability and can advise clients on it with credibility

Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional consulting projects — independently and concurrently

Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and executive-level presentation; you can influence at all levels of a large organisation

Commercial problem-solving ability — you identify growth opportunities and frame them strategically for clients

Additionally, you bring:

  • 5+ years in payments, financial services, or consulting (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Strong analytical and quantitative foundations
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools as productivity enablers
  • Knowledge of the Caribbean market
