Title: Project Manager

Work type: 12-month contract

Role Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution and delivery of technology projects. This role ensures projects are managed through a structured, integrated approach, minimizing overlap and duplication while maximizing the impact and efficiency of implemented solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead the execution of large-scale technology infrastructure projects, ensuring effective management of timelines, budgets, resources, documentation, and reporting.
  • Oversee risk and issue management, change control, quality assurance, and compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Use approved project management tools and practices to drive execution and vendor coordination.
  • Develop business cases and track project benefits to ensure return on investment.
  • Create RFIs and RFPs as needed to support vendor selection and solution design.
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects to business-as-usual (BAU) teams to sustain delivered benefits and change outcomes.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to established technology and project governance standards.
  • Contribute to solution architecture development and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Lead production deployments and post-implementation support to ensure effective change adoption.
  • Manage and motivate a diverse, multi-location project team to deliver results on time and within budget, providing coaching and support as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of project management experience, including leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder technology initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or systems integration projects, ideally within banking or other highly regulated environments.
  • Strong track record of managing budgets, timelines, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT governance, enterprise architecture, and change management best practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to financial services (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR) is a strong asset.
